REFUND POLICY
At the Canada Institute of Knowledge Development & Productivity (CIKDP), we are committed to delivering high-quality training and learning experiences. We understand that circumstances may change, and participants may need to request a refund. This refund policy outlines the conditions and procedures for requesting a refund to ensure transparency and fairness.
Refund requests will be considered under the following conditions:
The request is made within the stipulated timeframe for refunds.
The participant has met all required conditions outlined in this policy.
The reason for the refund falls within the acceptable grounds for refund as stated below.
Refunds will be granted under the following circumstances:
Course Cancellation by CIKDP: If a course or training program is canceled by CIKDP, a full refund will be issued to all registered participants.
Course Rescheduling by CIKDP: If a course is rescheduled to a later date that is inconvenient for the participant, a full refund will be provided upon request.
Withdrawal Before Course Start Date:
Requests made at least 14 days before the course start date: 90% refund (10% administrative fee applies).
Requests made between 7-13 days before the course start date: 50% refund.
Requests made less than 7 days before the course start date: No refund.
Medical or Emergency Reasons: If a participant is unable to attend due to a serious medical condition or unforeseen emergency, a refund may be granted at the discretion of CIKDP. Supporting documents (e.g., a medical certificate) may be required.
Dissatisfaction with Course (For Online Courses Only): Participants in self-paced online courses may request a refund within 3 days of purchase if they have not accessed more than 10% of the course content.
No refunds will be granted under the following circumstances:
Failure to attend the course without prior notice.
Partial attendance or withdrawal after the course has started.
Course fees paid for customized or private training sessions.
Refund requests made outside the stipulated timeframe.
Any costs incurred for third-party services (e.g., accommodation, travel, visa fees).
To request a refund, participants must follow these steps:
Submit a written refund request via email to [insert contact email].
Include the following details:
Full name and contact details.
Course name and start date.
Reason for the refund request (with supporting documents if applicable).
Refund requests will be reviewed within 10 business days, and the participant will be notified of the decision.
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.
In place of a refund, participants may opt for one of the following alternatives:
Course Transfer: Transfer enrollment to a future session of the same course at no extra cost (subject to availability).
Course Credit: Apply the course fee as credit toward another CIKDP course within six (6) months.
