Course description

THE CONFERENCE

The CDC conference is designed to enhance the skills and capabilities of public officers in the areas of resource mobilization, project planning, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) frameworks. As governments around the world face increasing pressures to optimize resources and deliver sustainable development outcomes, effective project management and resource allocation are paramount. This conference will focus on developing critical competencies needed for the successful design, implementation, and evaluation of projects, with a special emphasis on practical approaches and methodologies.

The theme, "Building Expertise in Project Planning, Proposal Writing, and M&E for Public Officers", reflects the growing need for public officers to be equipped with the tools to secure funding, create robust project plans, and measure the success of their initiatives. Through expert-led sessions, case studies, and interactive workshops, participants will learn how to develop comprehensive project proposals, mobilize resources efficiently, and implement M&E frameworks that ensure accountability and impact.

By attending CDC, participants will not only gain technical skills but also the strategic mindset necessary to address the complex challenges of contemporary public sector projects. This event promises to be a key platform for networking, learning, and fostering new approaches to improve project outcomes and drive positive change within the public sector.
